Privacy policy
This page explains, plainly, what Fastafit keeps about you, why, and who sees it. We wrote it from how the app actually works.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
In short
Fastafit needs no account and no password. The app knows you by your phone.
- We use your location to show you who's nearest. Your exact location is never shown to anyone.
- Your name and number are optional. We ask for the number only when a request needs it, and it goes only to the provider you pick, once you've agreed.
- We keep your chats and requests to run and improve the service. We don't sell your data and we show no ads.
- The assistant understands you, translates and writes its replies using Google's Gemini service; notifications reach you through Google's Firebase.
What we keep
Your phone and your ID
The first time you open the app we create an internal ID for you, link it to the device ID your phone's system provides (Android ID), and give your phone a secret token that stays on it. That is how the app knows you without signing up: if you delete it and install it again on the same phone, you come back to your account, chats and listings as you left them. A factory reset, or a new phone, starts a new identity. We also keep the system, the device model, the app version and when you last used it.
Your location
The app asks your phone for location permission. We keep the latest location we received, with its area, city and country. We use it to find who's nearest, to work out distances, and to show what you offer to people around you.
What you write, say and photograph
Your messages with the assistant, the photos you send, your answers to its questions, and the requests that come out of them. Voice notes are sent to be written out as text; we keep the text, not the recording. We also keep a short summary of each chat so the assistant remembers what you asked for before.
Your name and number
Both optional. You add them in Settings, or the assistant asks for the number when a request needs it, and then we keep it for you.
If you offer something
The name customers see, your contact number and WhatsApp, a line about you if you write one, the areas you serve, your working hours, your listings with their photos and prices, and the requests that reached you with your prices and replies.
Direct chats and ratings
Messages between you and the other side after you've agreed, and ratings in both directions with their comments.
Usage
Simple events in the app, such as opening it, switching between Find and Offer, or reaching a usage limit, and every need anyone looks for, even when it doesn't end in a request, with its area. We use them to learn what people need and where supply is missing. We use no third-party analytics tools.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we keep your phone's notification token and its language.
Technical logs
Our servers log usual technical data such as IP address and request time, to protect the service and fix problems.
How we use it
- To understand what you need, find who offers it near you, and rank them by distance, price and rating.
- To send your request to the providers you choose, and bring their replies and prices back to you.
- To translate the request and the price between your language and the provider's. Translations are shown, never stored.
- To send you notifications about your requests and messages.
- To limit abuse and apply the daily usage limits.
- To improve the service and understand demand and supply in each area.
Who sees what
- A provider you ask sees your request, your answers, your photos, your area and how far you are. They don't see your name or number before you agree.
- Once you agree, the provider sees your name and number, you see their number and WhatsApp, and you can chat directly. Direct chats are not translated.
- Providers' listings (title, description, photos, price, name and rating) are shown to people looking for them.
- Your rating of a provider counts towards their public rating. A provider's rating of you is seen only by the Fastafit team.
- Your exact location, as a customer or a provider, is never shown to anyone. Only the area and the distance are.
- The Fastafit team can access all of the data to run, protect and improve the service.
Where we keep it, and for how long
Data is kept in Fastafit's database on our servers, and connections to it are encrypted. Photos are stored in the same database and are seen only by those allowed, as described above.
We don't delete data automatically. We keep it for as long as the service runs, because it is the record of requests, agreements and ratings between people.
Your choices
- You can refuse location, microphone, camera or notification permission in your phone's settings. Location is needed for the app to work. Microphone and camera are asked for only when you record a voice note or add a photo.
- You can change your name and number in Settings at any time, and stop taking requests if you're a provider.
- You can write to us to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to stop your account, or to delete your data. We reply within 30 days.
This website
fastafit.com uses no cookies and no tracking tools, and everything on it, from the fonts to the app's file, is served from the site itself, so your browser contacts no one else when you open it.
Changes
If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date at its top.
